ZX-10RR
If the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R was already a brutal machine, what can we say about the Ninja ZX-10RR? A superbike of which only 500 units have been produced, and which raises the bar for "Ninjas" even further.
Since this beauty probably won't be in our garage, we'll have to go for the 1/9 scale alternative that Meng has just announced. The model accurately reproduces her aerodynamic and aggressive design. Her special 998cc inline four-stroke engine with titanium connecting rods and VAI variable intake system has also been precisely replicated, as has the twin-beam chassis, where both strength and lightness are masterfully combined. The exclusive seven-spoke Marchesini forged wheels, which are one of the elements that differentiate the ZX-10R from the RR, have also been reproduced in great detail. The front and rear shock absorbers are movable, as well as the steering damper, and the model includes seats and tires made of soft vinyl, which realistically reproduce the texture of the actual parts. The stainless steel brake discs are not only highly detailed but also offer a texture similar to the real thing. The mirrors and Kawasaki emblem have been recreated with transferable metallic stickers, offering realistic details. And finally, the model's decals allow you to choose between two different paint schemes. In short... a real treat!

Low grip
This time we're not going to tell you anything about the importance of tires in competition, nor about the different rubber compounds, nor about the problems and advantages that the lack of grip can cause... This time we're going to talk about the low grip on SpotModel stickers. 
Since the beginning of SpotModel's history, more than 20 years ago, we have placed stickers on all products that leave our warehouses: it is part of our trademark, and one of the many tasks we carry out to confirm that each and every single product in the warehouse has been meticulously inspected and checked before reaching your hands, as a token of the love we put into everything we do.
All of the SpotModel stickers we place on your products are easy to remove: simply apply a little heat and they come off. Now, as scale modelers, we are aware that many of our colleagues wish to have their boxes, catalogs, books, etc. absolutely neat and immaculate, and that's why we have a special "low-adhesion" sticker for the last 14 years. This sticker, circular shaped and three and a half centimeters in diameter, is specially manufactured with a special low-adhesion material (which is also surprisingly expensive for a sticker that sticks less...), so that it can be removed even without applying any heat at all, and leaves no residue on the surface where it is placed. This is the one you can find on the scale model boxes, on the catalogs and on the books that we ship at SpotModel, and it has been around since we received the first complaint from a scale modeler about their box arriving with a sticker placed on it without their permission.
You choose whether you want remember SpotModel every time you look at your scale models.

How long have we been waiting for this moment! Months! What am I saying, not months, but years of waiting! And finally, a transkit to reproduce the iconic and brutal Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2 with which Walter Röhrl won the 1987 Pikes Peak edition, while also breaking the race record in the process.
It was the guys at KMP who created the decals and the necessary parts (bodywork included) to use on the Beemax model of the Audi Sport S1 E2. The product features a complete bodywork produced in resin casting where all her curves are correctly represented, as well as spoilers and other aerodynamic elements also in resin, a multitude of 3D printed details (such as the different grilles distributed throughout the bodywork), pieces of transparent acetate pre-cut to size, smoked windows cut in both-sides protected acetate, and digitally printed and pre-cut decals.

Beta Montecarlo Turbo
The most veteran of us still remember when, in 1979, the now-defunct Esci brand launched the 1/24 scale model of the Lancia Beta Montecarlo Turbo with the Alitalia livery and the Giro d'Italia number plates. Years later, it was reissued with two other liveries, and since then, we've only been able to access this model by digging deep in the complicated second-hand market.
Well, once again our prayers have borne fruit and Heller has rescued the old Esci molds and made a new plastic injection, this time with the livery of the Jolly Club team during their participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1981. Great news indeed!!! The first units are expected to arrive at the SpotModel warehouse before Christmas.
To top it all off, Decalcas has already announced an upgrade set and several liveries that will be available early next year; Reji has also joined the bandwagon with a livery, and Komakai has secretly told us that they are preparing two photograph books to be able to build the model with complete historical accuracy and great detail.

Fulvia HF
The Lancia Fulvia HF was a true all-forward performer, with the twin-carburettor V-4 engine and gearbox mounted forward before the cabin. Despite being a front-wheel drive car, the Group 4 Lancia Fulvia HF 1600, homologated on October 1st 1969, came to dominate the World Rally Championship, winning several events with drivers including Sandro Munari.
With the Fulvia, Lancia created its iconic racing team, the HF (High Fidelity) Squadra Corsa. With legendary chief mechanic Cesare Fiorio, they used the 1600 HF consistently between 1969 and 1974, taking seven European Championship victories in 1970, another six in 1971 and seven more in 1972, winning the manufacturers' World Rally Championship in 1972. Nothing less!!

Is there a Guinness World Record for scale model cars? We're all convinced it isn't... Well yes, there is one, and Sergio Goldvarg has achieved it several times, since thanks to his passion he has built a collection of no less than 20,000 model cars, some of them unique pieces, as the result of his love for the world of miniature motors since he was just a child.
All of them, along with some 1:1 scale cars, are on display at the Goldvarg Museum located in Florida (USA). We recommend you take a few minutes to enjoy his story on his website and social media (facebook and instagram); it's well worth it.

Last week we talked about the Guinness World Record for collecting scale model cars, and today we're going to talk about another collector, although with a small but interesting twist: he collects 1:1 scale racing vehicles...
The collection he has gathered over the years is truly spectacular and completely unique in the world, although a few months ago it was announced that he was starting to get rid of it. We all know the reason, or we can guess, right?
Anyway, today we want to congratulate this collector of automotive treasures, not only for his incredible collection and all he has contributed to Formula 1, but also because he has just celebrated his birthday!

In March 1984, Peugeot presented at the Geneva Motor Show the model that, a few months later, would become the king of popular sports cars internationally: we are talking about the Peugeot 205 GTI 1.6.
For all of us who love the iconic vehicles in motoring history, Heller has created a complete scale model kit from scratch, which not only allows you to assemble the phase 1 version of the 205 GTI 1.9, but also allows you to recreate its engine and interior, which will be on full display because, unlike what is usual at 1/24 scale, the doors come prepared to be opened, as does the front hood.
The first supply of the scale model kit has just arrived, and we immediately opened one of the boxes to check the contents. It looks really good: a wide range of parts, excellent detail, a comprehensive color manual, and all at a very reasonable price. Which means the boss has already run out with three boxes under his arm...
