BT52b
Gordon Murray, the designer genius at Brabham, popped out of his pencil the Brabham BMW BT52 in 1983, which raced at the tracks decorated in blue and white. By the middle of the season it evolved to the BT52b, recognizable by its "inverted" decoration in white and blue, and achieving 3 glorious and unforgettable victories in the World Championship.
Since the very early days of Tameo Kits we have been able to build this beautiful Formula 1 in 1/43 scale, but more than 30 years had to gone by to (FINALLY!) have it also in plastic in 1/20 scale. Two years ago Beemax made us happy with the BT52, and now they have done the same with the BT52b. Gentlemen... this deserves a loud applause!!!

X Lands of El Cid
Next week the X Modeling Contest "Tierras del Cid" will take place in the beautiful city of Burgos (Spain).
We've heard some rumors... it seems that this year, one of the judges of the Contest section, particularly in the category of civil vehicles, is going to be a person that looks like a guy and says he knows one or two things about scale modeling, a little about motor sports and a lot about having a good time and a few beers with the contestants. He is (drum roll)... our beloved Big Boss at SpotModel! X-D
In addition, during the meeting, the Boss will give a small talk on Saturday afternoon about the present and future of SpotModel's Print Lab. For once, and without setting a precedent, he will also give a strawberry lollipop to everyone who come to hear it!!! For free!!! The Boss is definitely out of his mind

Second Chance
In scale modeling world you might face devastating moments, for instance when a manufacturer discontinues that kit that you wanted to have sooo badly and didn't order in time... And if we talk about resin kits the thing is even worse, right?
Well, back in the 70s there was a TV show on Spanish TV called "The second chance", in which Paco Costas, a journalist specializing in motor and road safety issues, advised viewers on the correct practices behind the wheel and raised awareness of the dangers you might face while driving. The format of the program was striking, because as the name implies it granted a second chance to the protagonist of an accident and analyzed what his behavior should have been in order to avoid it.
As the show said: "Sometimes, it would be great to have a second chance?".
