SF90XX Stradale
We haven't mentioned it yet, but we bet you've already noticed: Kitbox x PZY Model products are going to start circulating at full speed on SpotModel. This small producer of resin scale models with spectacular parts and decorations offers us a new creation, beautiful and Italian, called Ferrari SF90XX Stradale.
For the moment the manufacturer has only sent us images of the assembled prototype without decoration and it looks fantastic. For those who have not yet had the opportunity to hold any Kitbox x PZY Model products in their hands, we can assure you that the quality is really impressive, with cleverly designed parts and a fantastic design in all its details. A great product!!
The SF90XX Stradale will arrive in early April, as always in limited units that can already be reserved at SpotModel. You're going to want one and you know it... or even two. XD

In 1979, Jody Scheckter wins the Formula 1 World Championship at the wheel of the Ferrari 312T4. And which manufacturer has the model in 1/20 scale? Model Factory Hiro has it, of course, a superb product that combines hybrid injection with white metal parts, turned parts, etc.
This "little gem" was reissued a few months ago, although there weren't enough units for everyone since it was a limited series... and more than one person was left wanting to get one, right?

Even better!
We have been enjoying the superb products by Decalcas for some years now, and we rate them as superb for their impressive designs, the luxury of details, the absolute accuracy and the search for excellence in everything they do. We're sure we all think the same.
The thing is that they have just announced a series of new products and they tell us that the decorations made with decals, and even with masks, are suffering a significant delay, which is due to the fact that they have taken another step forward in looking for the very best in their products. They ask for a little patience from all those who are waiting for the products announced a few months ago... don't worry, they will arrive.
So what is the improvement about? Well, they give us some clues: they will increase the white levels from one to several, the varnish will be even thinner, they will have more detail in the designs, they have achieved a greater tonal range in each decal, and the products will be limited series printed by Cartograf. Honestly, it is the best thing they have told us in a long time... good for them!

We already have our plane tickets in our hands and our scale models in our suitcase because, as is tradition for part of the SpotModel team, we are going to the 27th international edition of civil vehicle scale modeling "On the road 2025" that is being held in Jabbeke (Belgium)!!! Happy people!
How many happy faces do you see in this image? In it you will find some of the best modelers from all over Europe during the "On the road 2025" event held in Belgium a few days ago, where we were able to enjoy the spectacle of seeing several thousand models of cars, motorcycles and trucks, chatting with the best of the best in the world, and sharing many good times... Without a doubt, a great meeting with a large number of good friends and even better scale models.

Your opinion matters
A few days ago we had an interesting meeting with a plastic scale model manufacturer in which they told us about their upcoming car model releases, which we can't say anything about at the moment... BUT, during the conversation they asked us a question, a very good question, to which we gave a very good answer, of course.
The question is: which plastic scale model or accessory do you think doesn't exist and would be interesting to see marketed? Although we've already given our answer, we'd like to know which one what YOURS would be, among other things because no one knows better than YOU what you want to see in the catalog of upcoming releases. We've put together a photo album of the highlights we saw at ModelMotor, the SpotModel event held the last weekend of March, where we were able to delight with around 140 entries by the cream of the crop of Spanish scale modelers. The photographs speak for themselves about the impressive variety, quality, and quantity of material we gathered.

Catalog
It's curious how magical model catalogs are: you open one of them to any page and immediately you can see the boxes of those models in your house, and you can even clearly see those finished models on your shelf.
We grabbed this year's Tamiya catalog, which arrived a few days ago, and we tested it by opening it to several pages... and it works!!! Incredible.
But what's more, we've dug through old Tamiya and other brand catalogs from 40 years ago, opened several pages, and... magic!!! We shudder just as much and visualize those models on our shelf. Amazing.
We promise that we at SpotModel haven't tampered with anything at all, so our conclusion is that they're printed with some kind of magic ink. That must be it...

Rise
"Rise" is defined as the growth or increase of something. So, when asked, "is modeling scale modeling rising?" many would answer no, because you hardly see any new faces at modeling meetings, there are no young people building models, blah blah blah. That is one point of view, but at SpotModel, we don't see it that way...
Never before have we had so many product references available, never before have so many new brands emerged, never before have there been so many references for paints, detail-up sets, rims, decals, figures, books... as we have today.
So can we say that scale modeling is on the rise? Interesting question, isn't it?
What's definitely on the rise is the number of super-cool products arriving at SpotModel. Have you seen the Matra MS670 and the Ferrari 412T2 in 1/12 scale by MFH? There have never been so many 1/12 scale models in the history of scale modeling.

Last Monday, we had a power outage at SpotModel. Well, it wasn't just at SpotModel, it was all across mainland Spain, part of Portugal, and some parts of southern France. Hours and hours went by without a single volt reaching the outlet. 
A truly desperate situation for an electronic commerce business... Since it was Monday, we were caught in the middle of preparing our weekend shipments, although fortunately we had already prepared most of them. First, the internet connection began to fail, and then everything shut down. The SpotModel website was operational, but we were unable to process shipments, update products, or answer emails... for all of which we sincerely apologize.
So what did we do during the blackout? Well, we took our time and had a leisurely look at some of the latest products we've received, such as the reedition of the Audi Quattro by Tamiya, the Matra MS670B in 1/12 scale by Model Factory Hiro, or the new books by Komakai, as well as the latest shipment of material from Fujimi and Hasegawa, among others. In the afternoon, when we got home still without electricity, we dedicated ourselves to what we do best: building scale models...
On Tuesday, when the power was back on, we had significant issues due to communications and logistics failures nationwide, but luckily, SpotModel is now operating without any problems and at full speed.

Triple trio of aces
We've asked the most experienced and skilled players, and they resoundingly answered that it's practically impossible to achieve a triple trio of aces in a single game. Well, we did it. How? We'll explain it to you in a simple way; keep reading.
First, we have received wonderful news from Decalcas that they are already designing three liveries for the recently announced BMW 320 E21 Turbo by Nunu, all three of which are absolutely gorgeous and essential.
On the other hand, we have received the three latest Tameo releases: the Lotus 72D from the WCT series, the Lotus 95T from the TMK series, and the Ferrari 312 F1 from the SLK series, all equally beautiful and essential for your display case.
And to complete the masterstroke, we have received the reedition of the Lancia Delta S4 by Martini, the Audi Quattro S1 and, finally, the Suzuki RGV500 of Alex Barros and Kevin Schwantz produced by Beemax.

AI
Artificial Intelligence, or "AI" as they call this invention for short, seems like something from aliens that has nothing to do with scale model building. Well, we were wrong, because the images at the top of this newsletter, which were generated using AI surely by some scale modeler (and which we happened to find on a social network), made our hearts beat 200 times per minute...
It's definitely a little joke (with very good taste!), but at first sight it was like "it's not possible... my scale modeling dreams come true!!!"... XD
With our heads still reeling from what AI could bring us, what we do know is that SpotModel will be on the lookout in case these artificial dreams come true...

Clio superpower!!!
Back in the 1990s, Renault homologated the supercharged Clio Williams in Group A to compete in the World Rally Championship. To do so, they modified the engine, brakes, suspension and chassis (among other things) of what was already a super-muscled and fast machine. Thanks to its popularity, we were able to see it in a vast number of races with various teams between 1991 and 1993.
Developed by Luca Cavicchi, the Group A version of the Renault Clio is once again available in a 1/24 scale resin model from Arena Modelli. It also maintains one of the manufacturer's most spectacular features, the reproduction of its mechanics under the front hood. And best of all, we already have some of the versions at SpotModel ready to rush to your workbench. Don't doubt, they are awesome scale models.

In rallies and raids, you have to go very fast, as fast as possible. But, you don't just have to go fast; you have to know where you're going and how far you have to go to the finish line, as well as have clear and precise control over your timing. Another important aspect is radio communication, especially in case of an accident, breakdown, or any other setback.
It's clear that our scale models are static and, a priori, they don't need any of the above, but don't we want to recreate all the equipment found on real-world rally cars to scale? DAB Models invites us to do just that with their new references of trip meters, radios, and stopwatches available in three different scales. Are you going to miss them?
